Write docs 4x faster. Without hating every second.
Nobody became a developer to write documentation. But the docs still need to get written — PRDs, README updates, architecture decisions, onboarding guides.
Wispr Flow lets you talk through it instead. Speak naturally about what the code does, how it works, and why you built it that way. Flow formats everything into clean, professional text you can paste into Notion, Confluence, or GitHub.

My fancy Ninja coffee machine broke this week after just five years of use. I suppose five years isn’t that bad, but I know some older folks who have had the same coffee machine for decades.
This coffee machine did everything. Hot, cold, milk foamer, all different sizes. It was basically a full barista. I can count on one hand the amount of times we used any setting other than “regular pot of coffee”.
As I was searching for my next coffee machine, my husband and I decided to get back to basics. Why would we spend $450 on a fancy machine when we don’t use any of the settings? So we bought a machine that can make a single cup or a pot. No more, no less. Simplicity wins the morning.
I’ve found simplicity really does win in other aspects of our life as well. Fitness, meals, finances. Keeping things as simple as possible is not only easier, it often yields better results. Just because something is more complicated doesn’t make it more sophisticated or better.
When it comes to your finances, fight for simplicity. You don’t need a million accounts or types of investments. You can become a multi-millionaire with just a checking account, a savings account, a retirement account, and a brokerage account.
You don’t need 500 credit cards with different rewards programs. Pick one or two that suit your lifestyle best and stick with those.
You don’t need complicated investments or a portfolio of hundreds of stocks, bonds, etc. In each investment account, keep just a handful of really solid index funds. Invest in them consistently over a long period of time and you’ll be just fine.
Don’t over complicate your life unnecessarily or because you think it’s what you’re supposed to do as you get older. American culture has led us to believe that we need to overcomplicate everything as some sort of status symbol or path to success. This isn’t true. In fact, the opposite is.
So do your pushups. Go for a jog. Do a few basic lifts. Eat your vegetables, protein, and keep everything in moderation. Skip the latest fad diet and exercise trends.
Keep your money simple, too. There’s a lot of evidence to suggest that a simple life is a happier one.
That’s what I’m thinking about this week. What are you doing to simplify your life? Let me know!
Until next time, Villagers,
-Catie
