Let your insurance plan pay for your personal dietitian

Expert nutrition counseling is a game-changer for your health, but high costs have made it inaccessible for many. What if you could get that expert guidance without the financial burden?

Fay was founded on a simple but powerful premise: your health insurance should help you stay healthy. Most people don't realize their plan likely covers sessions with a Registered Dietitian, often with little to no co-pay.

Fay makes it easy to unlock this benefit by matching you with a top-tier dietitian who is in-network with your insurance provider, including major plans from UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, and hundreds more. Stop paying out-of-pocket for generic advice.

Can you believe it’s time to head back to school!?!? Are you rejoicing or grieving the end of summer? Maybe a little of both?

Summer is obviously the best season (don’t argue with me), but there’s something so lovely and nostalgic about autumn and going back to school. Showing up on the first day with my tan, new sneakers, and a pack of rainbow colored gel pens…that’s peak childhood right there. I remember it fondly. Now that I’m a parent myself, I realize back to school shopping is EXPENSIVE! Back in the 90s we needed the basics to be prepared, but of course the list of required supplies has become lengthier and costlier.

So what I want to do today is round up the Internet’s best Back to School Deals! All in one place for your convenience. I’m always thinking about you and your wallet, after all. I’m also thinking about Number 2 pencils, Lisa Frank, paper bag book covers, LL Bean embroidered backpacks, and Starter jackets. The ‘90s were such a great time to be a student! I really hope these trends come back when my kids head to school. I’ve got a Patriots starter jacket ready to go.

The 1990s in one picture.

CLASSROOM OF THE WEEK!

As someone who grew up in the beautiful Berkshires, I absolutely love the fall. What I don’t love is how parents and teachers alike are expected to foot the bill for classroom supplies. We know teachers are criminally underpaid. So to see the majority of them reaching in their own pockets to give all of our children the educational experience they deserve is heartbreaking. I could go on all day about how our teachers and students deserve better, but I digress. **Stepping down from soap box** Since this week’s theme is all about heading back to school, how about we help Ms. Cooke and the second graders of Clarksburg Elementary in Clarksburg, Massachusetts?! If you have a few bucks to spare, consider helping this awesome classroom!

Know any other awesome teachers and students? Send me their wishlist and we’ll get it featured 😄

We have more awesome stuff launching soon — tell your friends about this newsletter and let’s keep growing this Cents of Humor Village!
